These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website at ottawaplumbingservice.com and the plumbing services provided by Ottawa Plumbing Service ("we", "us", or "our"). By using our website or booking any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website, requesting a quote, or booking a plumbing service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself or the property you represent.
Services We Provide
Ottawa Plumbing Service provides residential and commercial plumbing services across Ottawa, Nepean, Orleans, Kanata, Embrun, Rockland, Cumberland, and surrounding areas. Services include repairs, installations, waterproofing, drain and sewer work, emergency dispatch, and related plumbing solutions. The scope of any specific job is defined in the written or verbal quote provided before work begins.
Quotes & Bookings
Quotes are provided free of charge and remain valid for 30 days from the date issued, unless otherwise stated in writing. A quote becomes a confirmed booking only after we have agreed on a date and you have authorized the work. We reserve the right to adjust the quote if on-site conditions reveal work materially different from what was described or visible at the time of estimating — any such change will be communicated and re-authorized before additional work begins.
Pricing & Payment
All prices are quoted in Canadian dollars and exclusive of HST unless otherwise stated. Payment is due upon completion of the work unless other arrangements have been agreed in writing. We accept the payment methods listed at the time of booking. Late payments may be subject to interest at the rate permitted by Ontario law.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
We ask that you provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a non-emergency booking. Same-day cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a dispatch fee. Emergency bookings are best-effort — we will always communicate honestly if our ETA changes.
Warranties & Guarantees
Our workmanship is backed by warranty terms specified on your invoice or work order. Manufacturer warranties cover parts and equipment as set by the manufacturer. Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, tampering, normal wear, freezing, foreign objects, or work performed by third parties after we leave the site.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ottawa Plumbing Service's liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or our services is limited to the amount paid for the service in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, except where required by Ontario consumer protection law.
Customer Responsibilities
You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the work area, disclose known hazards (asbestos, mould, electrical issues, lead piping, etc.), keep pets and children clear of the workspace, and not authorize anyone other than our team to alter work in progress. Failure to provide safe access may result in postponement and a dispatch fee.
Website Use
All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and design — is owned by Ottawa Plumbing Service or its licensors and is protected by copyright. You may view and download content for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not reproduce, republish, or distribute our content without our prior written permission.
Privacy
